National Heart Institute (NHI) is the Research & Referral tertiary-care Heart Hospital of the All India Heart Foundation established by the leading cardiologist of India, Dr. S. Padmavati in 1981. The hospital plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of heart ailments and allied diseases. Their mission is to provide superior, compassionate and innovative cardiac care to prevent and treat disease maintaining highest standards in safety and quality and to create long lasting relationships by caring as no one has done ever before. 

The hospital provides international standards of medical treatment and care owing to its proficient medical doctors, trained paramedics and staff, state of the art equipments and well maintained infrastructure. Dr. O.P. Yadav is the CEO and Chief Cardiac Surgeon of National Heart Institute. A portion of the revenue generated is spending in the treatment of the poor and needy who cannot afford good quality medical care. 

National Heart Institute is recognized as a Collaborative Centre of WHO in Preventive Cardiology since 1983. The hospital is an affiliate of the World Hypertension League and Heart Beat International. National Heart Institute is empanelled by many Public sector units, government and international bodies for open heart surgery, coronary artery bypass surgery, angiography, angioplasty and other such specialized cardiac treatment. National Heart Institute also runs all-inclusive executive health check-up and regular community outreach programs such as heart camps. The hospital is also recognized by National Board for post doctoral training in cardiology and cardiovascular & thoracic surgery.
